nference is headquartered in Kendall Square (Cambridge, MA), the world’s biotech capital, with offices in Rochester (Minnesota), Bangalore (India) and Toronto (Canada). You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of serial entrepreneurs from the tech and biotech worlds along with highly trained, innovative and dedicated scientists/physicians (PhD in Biology/Genomics and/or MD) from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard Medical School.

Responsibilities

As a part of a team in Durham, NC, you will play a key role in:

– Developing high-quality software optimized for scale and performance

– Developing new features for the core product as well as continuing to refine methodologies for the existing features.

– Working hand-in-glove with product management, UX designers.

Required Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field

– Ability to take initiative and add value in a fast-paced environment

– 2+ years experience with solid backend/engineering experience.

– Knowledge of data structures and an eye for architecture.

– Solid CS fundamentals, fluent in multi-threaded and asynchronous programming, a strong inclination for architecting at scale.

– Excellent technical design, problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

– Basic knowledge of SQL as well as NoSQL databases.

– Proficient in one or more programming languages (Python/Java/Golang/C, C++).

– Coding experience:

o Required: C/C++, Python, SQL(Postgres, MySQL), NoSQL(Mongo)

o Good to Have: Golang, Java, Node.js, Django, FastAPI
