Job Descriptions

We are working with a leading Developer, Investor, Financier and Operator of Renewable Energy Assets to identify a Head of Business Development for their Australian operation. They are are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and reliable person to continue the development of solar or wind farm projects which have already been identified by the Group.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the formulation of the development strategy.
• Identify and assess acquisition and joint development opportunities.
• Lead due diligence processes, evaluating technical and financial viability.
• Negotiate transactions, including joint development agreements and shareholders’ agreements.
• Develop comprehensive financial models for decision-making and investment evaluations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Holds a degree in Finance or Engineering with at least 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Essential transactional experience in the energy/renewable sector.
• Capable of working independently, making commercial decisions, and leading processes.
• Proficient in advanced financial modelling.
• Experienced in negotiations of contracts.
• Technical knowledge of renewable energy plants, including design, yield assessment, grid connection, construction, and procurement.
