NEXTreme Inc Hiring for Heavy Equipment Operator Full Time

Nextreme is currently seeking an Equipment Operator to join our team! The ideal candidate will be safety conscious and previous experience operating an excavator, loader, telehandler, dump truck etc. is mandatory. Priority given to those who reside in Yellowknife, NT

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Operate Excavator with Care, Safety, and Efficiency

– Generate and maintain daily walk-around logs

– Maintain equipment (check liquids, air in tires, oil change, general maintenance)

– Clean and service equipment as scheduled or required

– Other assigned work as required

EXPERIENCE:

– Over 5 years Equipment Operation – Excavators, Loaders, Dump Trucks, Forklifts

– Independently Lead and Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks

– Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment

– Secure special attachments to equipment

– Able to understand and conduct hand signals

REQUIREMENTS:

– Class 1 Drivers License

– Reliable/on time

– Safety Orientated

– Work independently and as a team

-5 years experience using an excavator
