Role Overview
Reporting to the Head of Resource, you will partner with the HR Business Partner in applying people policies and everyday people activities and processes. You will have proven experience in running end-to-end people processes, supporting across all HR/People-related activities and reporting.
Within your first 9-12 months in the role, we will develop you in an Advisory capacity, with a view to promoting you to People Advisor level upon successful completion.
This is a hybrid position with 40% of time in the office for collaboration in addition to remote work.
As an HR/People Coordinator, you will:
New joiner and leavers process – Oversee the Joiners & Lavers dashboard and deliver a new joiner Induction and experience that reflects the excellent experience we want them to have
Family Leave process – Facilitate Shared Parental Leave and Maternity Leave processes, including doing the entitlement calculations, and leading maternity leave/returner conversations with parents-to-be
Reports – Run accurate reports which help us identify patterns and aid our recommendations
HR Information Systems – Ensure all data is clean and accurate on Dynamics AX
Performance – Provide admin support during review, talent mapping, and TNA cycles
Employee survey coordination – Set up and test engagement surveys before sharing across the business
L&D – Coordinate logistics of training sessions, including confirming external suppliers and sending reminders, booking rooms, monitoring attendance, flagging any concerns
Payroll – Ensure all Payroll data is submitted in an accurate and timely fashion
Staff Benefits – You will be the first point of contact for all queries and have a solution-based approach to any issues that may arise. You will also become an expert user of AX and our online benefits portal
You will bring:
At least 1.5 years of previous experience in a similar People or HR role
A good understanding and awareness of relevant HR legislation and familiarity with HR processes, including dealing with maternity/paternity leave, sickness absence, joiners and leavers paperwork
Fluency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel – comfortable creating and maintaining complex spreadsheets, including pulling up reports and manipulating and analysing data using formulas within a reasonable time frame
