Content Writer – Marketing Communications – Part-time
Sarasota area public relations, advertising, marketing, communications and business strategy firm expanding their Sarasota operations is seeking an enthusiastic professional to fill a part-time (20 hr.+) content writing position. Minimum requirements for this position include a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of writing experience in a corporate communications or marketing communications environment along with impeccable research and editing skills. Knowledge of healthcare, tourism, hospitality or technology marketing communications a plus.

Our select candidate will be a talented storyteller with an eye for detail. The Content Writer will create B2B, B2G, and B2C print and digital content that showcases our client’s products and services, boosts brand awareness and customer engagement, and elevates their brand. The Content Writer will write thoughtful copy for web, email, and social media to support online communities, research and author white papers, case studies, blogs, and newsletters, and collaborate closely with our team to produce professional-grade assets.

Key Functions Basic Duties

• Craft high-quality content that advances our clients’ business objectives across multiple channels, including websites, email marketing, social media, product descriptions, presentations, videos, blogs, white papers, and case studies.
• Ensure all marketing materials clearly convey key intended messages, solutions strategies, and themes that are easily understandable, readable, consistent, and compelling.
• Review, organize, and edit written content and materials to improve clarity.
• Develop a deep knowledge of our client’s products, services, and brand image.
• Collaborate with our team to support all marketing communications needs across the entire organization.
• Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize online visibility.
