The Accounting Manager must have experience working for a Big 4 or National CPA firm as well as experience with debt & equity accounting.

This position is 100% work-from-home and candidates can be located anywhere on the West Coast.

Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

• Focus on debt & equity accounting
• Technical accounting & GAAP research
• Supporting External Reporting function
• Month-end close
• Staff Management (1 Senior Accountant)
• Responsibility for selected balance sheet and income statements accounts
• Research business transactions and document accounting issues
• Process improvements and streamlining processes
• SOX compliance
• Preparing and reviewing external auditor interim and annual audit schedules
• Ability to explain complex accounting and business issues to auditors (Big 4)
• Special projects including working with senior management in the review and analysis of new business ventures and initiatives
• Working cross functionally

Accounting Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA
• Big 4 or National CPA firm experience required
• Strong technical accounting experience (specifically debt & equity)
• Staff management experience
• Process improvement experience
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be goal oriented and a team player
