Nexperia is looking to expand our well-established on-site HR team by recruiting a HR administrator on an initial 1 year fixed term contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with previous HR administration skills looking to build upon their skillset within a Global company whilst alongside a HR Manager with over 14 years of experience. Nexperia Newport are currently working towards doubling our headcount on site so this role provides a lot of scope for learning new skills in an interesting and fast paced environment as well as being able to study alongside work if you wish to do so.
What you will do
To provide administrative support in all aspects of people related administration, for example producing offer letters, change to terms and conditions letters and references
Support the day-to-day administration of the HR systems such as Workday and Team Seer
Maintain and update all people records ensuring adherence to GDPR and Information Security requirements
Be a point of contact for all HR-related queries
Administer HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment
Administrative duties of adding and amending shift patterns on time & attendance systems.
Updating employee files
Support the HR Operations in various administrative tasks
Processing starters and leavers, within required timescales
Perform other administrative duties such as filing, photocopying and scanning

What you will need
Previous experience as an administrator in a people / HR related role (1 year minimum)
Organised and good attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Proactive and working to your own initiative
Understanding of GDPR legislation and able to always maintain discretion and confidentiality
Understanding of MS packages such as word, teams and the basics of excel
Currently studying CIPD
Previous manufacturing background
