About the Position:

Nexans AmerCable located in El Dorado, AR is seeking a Financial Analyst for our group to provide create, analyze, and interpret financial data for our business unit that can be utilized to make sound business decisions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide Financial Support to the assigned business unit
• Provide sound financial advice and meaningful financial reporting to assigned business unit
• Process domestic, international, and consignment invoices and submit to customers
• Generate Proforma invoices, as necessary
• Calculate & distribute average monthly copper rates
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and CSRs
• Serve as liaison between the Accounting department and Shipping department during month-end close
• Hedge intercompany payments/receivables
• Process payments through the In-House Bank portal § Convert foreign currency payments to USD
• Determine FX results of foreign currency payments/receivables
• Reconcile intercompany sales, receipts, and cross-sales between Nexans entities at the end of each quarter
• Monitor short-term lease activity
• Maintain daily bank activity
• Routinely write-off items listed on unvouchered report
• Provide assistance with ad hoc projects, as necessary

Required Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years experience in a related accounting/finance role
• Prior exposure to IFRS, month end close and inter-company accounting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
• Ability to work a flexible schedule

Pay: $45,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
