Senior Patient Registrar – Admitting – Nights

Registrars, in addition to registering, scheduling and obtaining pre-certification and authorization for patients, assumes some responsibility for the work direction and training of Patient Registrars in accordance with established guidelines.

As a Senior Patient Registrar, provides work direction, schedules work, conducts on-the-job training, and answers job related questions. Assists in preparing performance evaluations; may recommend personnel actions for assigned staff.

The shift for this position is 7:00 PM – 7:000 AM – Monday – Friday with rotating weekends and holidays at Lawrence Hospital.

Preferred Criteria

• Some college
• Knowledge of insurance benefits/requirements

Required Criteria

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years of clerical experience
• Strong computer skills
• Effective Communication
