Patient Registrar – Outpatient Rehab Services – Days

Assist patients with questions and concerns. Keep families informed. Light up the room with your presence while making the promise of putting patients first a reality. In this dynamic role, you will register patients for a variety of procedures and appointments and feel the pride of going above and beyond to help others. Channel your customer service skills through obtaining demographic details and insurance information and ensuring proper scheduling. You’ll record patient history while obtaining pre-certification and authorization for patients. Most importantly, you will be the calm and reassuring presence patients need as they navigate their hospital experience.

The shift for this position Mon-Thurs 10:30am – 6:30pm and Fri: 830am – 4:30pm

Preferred Criteria

• Completed some college coursework and are familiar with health insurance requirements and clinical coding (ICD 9, CPT-4)
• Strong Customer service skills
• Energetic, approachable demeanor with a desire to put patients first
• Experience working with EPIC

Required Criteria

• Qualified candidates have at least one year of clerical experience supported by a high school diploma or GED
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Computer, data entry & keyboard skills
