HR Data Analyst (9 month contract)
This is an exciting new opportunity at News UK working in the HR Data & Reporting team.
The role is responsible for processing of contractual changes, maintaining the organisation structure and reporting using SAP system. Data quality, compliance and confidentiality are paramount in this role.
Your team
You will join a team of HR Data & Reporting Analysts specialising in use of SAP HR with opportunity to participate in ongoing project. You will have interaction with HR Customer Services, Payroll team, HRBP/Coordinators and other stakeholders.
This role is for a fixed term of 9 months. The role is based at our Peterborough office but can be done remotely.
In this role, you will:
Maintain personnel data and organisation structures in SAP
Manage work schedule rule changes and holiday quota adjustments
Respond to HR data queries and information requests
Process HR memos and buddy check changes
Participate in data and process improvements
Participate in SAP system update testing
Provide end user support and training
Ensure processes and data management actions are GDPR & SOX compliant
Data cleanse for migration from SAP to Workday
What we’re looking for from you
Functional knowledge of SAP or Workday
Operational experience of SAP or Workday
Knowledge of HR business processes
HR Systems testing experience
Excellent analytical and numeracy skills
Experience of delivering Management Information
Good understanding of data protection, GDPR and audit compliance
Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel/Google Sheets
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A self-starter with good organisational skills
Highly motivated with a “can do” attitude
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Excellent attention to details and proactive in dealing with data issues
Flexible and adaptable with collaborative skills
