News UK Ltd Hiring for Fashion Assistant – Fabulous Full Time

Job Description

Your role: We are looking for a fashion assistant to join the Sun/Fabulous team. The successful candidate will have great brand knowledge, contacts on the high street as well-being hardworking and efficient.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about all things fashion and have completed a successful internship on a similar publication.

Day to day you will

• Manage a busy fashion cupboard with responsibility for all incoming and outgoing items.

• Assist the Fashion Director/ Fashion and style editors / Stylists with shoots. Call in samples and order clothes online to fit moodboard briefs for main fashion and celebrity covers.

• Be able to produce still life shopping pages of the latest and most coveted items to hit stores and online.

• Be brimming with ideas for fashion features, page ideas and online articles.

• Be passionate about social media and have lots of ideas on how to elevate Fabulous video content with exciting fashion reels and TikTok videos

• Be reactive to daily news and pitch ideas for Fab Daily

What we are looking for from you

• Experience of running a fashion cupboard

• A proactive team player who thrives working under daily deadlines and delivers work at a consistently high standard

• A positive attitude and willingness to take on any reasonable task

• A self-starter who takes initiative, is organised and thrives during the creative process

• This is an office based role and you would be required to work from our London Bridge head-quarters and Hoxton based studio as well as occasionally travel to a shoot location
