Newport Diagnostic Center (NDC), an upscale comprehensive outpatient imaging center located in Newport Beach, CA is currently seeking an energetic and professional individual as a Scheduler/Authorization Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team environment which provides exemplary patient care along with the latest equipment.

NDC specializes in comprehensive care and offers state-of-the-art imaging technology. Our imaging systems include 2 high-field MRI systems, 64 slice CT, PET/CT, Women’s Imaging, Nuclear Medicine and an array of other diagnostic services.

Qualifications and Requirements:

– Experience in a medical practice, insurance authorizations/radiology/scheduling preferred -Outstanding phone and customer service skills

-Computer literacy

-General knowledge of insurance policies

-Superior multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, initiative

-Pleasant and helpful demeanor at all times

-Bilingual a plus

General Job Duties:

-Obtain pre-authorizations for procedures

-Scheduling appointments for multi-disciplinary practice

-Interfacing with physician offices, technologists and clerical staff
