The Role

Reporting to the Manager, Talent, you will manage recruitment activities from sourcing through to candidate selection and onboarding, developing strong internal relationships to support our line leaders to identify the best talent for their teams.


The role will include:

  • Proactive candidate sourcing and networking to develop future talent pools
  • End to end recruitment of site based roles following the Newmont Australia recruitment process
  • Championing the value that diversity can bring to business and to people’s lives, and seeking out candidates that are different
  • Being curious with recruitment technology and how it can enhance user experience and candidate quality

Site travel may be required to get to know our operations and customers. Flexible and remote working opportunities will be ongoing.


Your Skills, Training and Experience Checklist:

  • You have an obsession for customer service, and an intuitive relationship building ability
  • You have a capacity for a large workload, but it doesn’t get in the way of you managing processes with a smile
  • You have a knack for systems administration and love to organize yourself and company records
  • You don’t accept the status quo, and enjoy improving processes and simplifying work
  • HR or related degree qualification is preferred, with recruitment experience and recruitment systems administration essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
