The Role

Reporting to the Superintendent, Inclusion and Talent, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of global and regional talent management programs that support and develop our people, capability, organisational culture and business objectives.

Site travel will be required to deliver our Talent Management Programs to our operations. Flexible and remote working opportunities will be ongoing.


The role will include:

  • Execution of the Organisational Development / Talent Management Strategy through deliverables such as (but not limited to) leadership program delivery, supporting of succession planning and talent to watch processes and performance management.
  • Supporting the individual development of our workforce through individual development planning in line with talent guidelines with a key focus on emerging talent and HiPos.
  • Supporting Newmont’s Inclusion and Diversity Strategy through regular engagement with our Business Resource Groups and I&D Taskforce, with a key focus on creating solutions and education to progress along our journey
  • Resourcing the Newmont Graduate and Vacation Program and acting as our Emerging Talent liaison throughout the Graduate life cycle of employment

Your skills, training and experience checklist:

  • You have an obsession for customer service and an intuitive relationship building ability
  • You love opportunities to present and facilitate in a way that engages and captivates your audience
  • You have an understanding of organisational development principles and theories and can use this knowledge in a practical way to enhance content delivery
  • You take a data driven approach to organisational development solutions and activities
  • You are passionate about inclusion and diversity and have an intrinsic interest in helping create an inclusive and diverse working environment
  • You can flex to your environment, knowing that to embrace change and diversity requires adaptability
  • HR or Organisational Psychology related degree qualification is preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • You have demonstrated effective Recruitment support
