Junior Industrial Electrician

Hours: Monday to Friday; 7:00am – 4:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and resolve electrical equipment issues on a variety of automated and semi-automated industrial equipment
• Run conduit/wiring for new equipment deployments throughout manufacturing facility
• Assist with maintenance department tasks (troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic and other equipment issues)
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Certified Industrial Electrician or registered Electrical Apprentice
• Good working understanding of electro-mechanical principals
• Knowledge of industrial machine functions and capabilities
• Manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude and good math skills
• Basic knowledge of Ontario Electrical Safety Code, OHSA, TSSA and WHMIS
• PLC experience an asset
• Ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Working at Heights/Skyjack certification required
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Must be able to work overtime as required
