As we come through the pandemic, Newham Council is putting together a brand-new team to address building safety and housing across our borough and instil innovative ideas across our approach.

It’s essential that we get it right. The work we need to do is varied and far-ranging. We have more than 80 high-rise blocks and a large number of low-rise buildings too in the borough. So the portfolio offers unique challenges and opportunities. As a member of this new team you will shape our response and be a driving force in the housing sector as a whole.
