Control and coordinate all activities associated with receiving and dispatching of goodsin comply with customer requirements and company standards of quality and service.

Intended Results

Shipping containers, trailers, and othertransportation equipment are positioned in the yard and on the shipping docks to optimize workflows.

Inbound and outbound orders are receivedand dispatched efficiently, inalignment with customer and company guidelines and procedures.

Inbound and outbound orders areprocessed in a timelymanner,meeting company targets and KPIs of serviceand quality.

Workflow is organized so that the warehouse team and automated logistics installation are positioned to exceedKPIs of service and quality.

Responsibilities

Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS), YardManagement System (YMS), and Material Flow / Control System(MFCS)to optimize workflowsand monitor real-timeperformance.

Cooperate with clients and transportation providers to organize timely inbound and outbound shipments.

Communicate with the ShiftSupervisor, System Operator, and YardOperator to ensure optimum workflows and efficiencies take place in all warehouse activities.

Coordinate with Shift Supervisors to ensure prompt and accurate loading and unloading of goods.

Interact directly with transportationproviders, employeetruck drivers, and owner operators andcommunicate any delays or other issues with the Operations team to ensurethat workflow is uninterrupted.

Ensure yard audits are completed daily.

Core Tasks

Assist inbound andoutbound truckers with any issues encountered at the gate.

Manage the drop yard program, contactingtransportation providers when necessary and ensuringthat droptrailers and containers are loaded / unloaded according toplan.

Interact with transportation companydrivers to issue and processtransport documentation (BOLs, PODs, etc.)

Correspond withtransportation providers to schedule inbound and outbound shipments.

Direct the movement of trailers and containers on-site by leveraging the YMS in coordination with YardOperators to organize drop-pick activity.

Protect product quality at all times by upholding NewCold policies and customerrequirements for temperature,damages, etc.

Alert customers,transportation providers and NewCold operations ofany deviations fromprocess, issues with qualityof goodsor services, or risks of failure.

Engage with SystemOperators and Maintenance Technicians to minimize impact to operations during equipment downtime,both planned and emergent.

Generate s fromthe WMS and YMS, issuing to the client and communicating any follow up.

Additional tasks

Assist in otherwarehouse activities as required.

Assist colleaguesin carrying out tasks as required.

Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.

Search foropportunities for improvement.

Experience Requirements

2 years of experience in planning and operations

Experience using WMS,YMS, TMS, and ERP software

Microsoft Office Suite Programs (word, excel, outlook)

Experience with SharePoint

Must be at a minimum of intermediate level on computer proficiency
