The Pastoral Support team within the Central Support Service are looking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Learning Mentor to provide effective mentoring and support to students at all levels across the organisation with a specific focus on Literacy and Numeracy.
The role will involve supporting learners to enable them to develop literacy and numeracy skills, increase their confidence and self-esteem and to take responsibility for their own learning. Experience of supporting learners with the development of literacy and numeracy skills up to and including GCSE level is essential.
Level 2, or equivalent, qualifications in English and maths are essential for this post and a level 3, or equivalent would be advantageous. Please demonstrate this in your application.
