New York Cancer & Blood Specialists Hiring for Medical Office Manager at Manhattan, NY Full Time

New York Cancer and Blood Specialists (NYCBS), a prominent and respected Oncology/Hematology group, is seeking an Intake LPN to join a well-established and growing pure sub-specialty practice with academic affiliation. Practice manages a freestanding outpatient Cancer Center with extensive chemotherapy administration, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy and Research department.

In this role, you will:

• Manage our clinical and administrative staff and procedures.
• Have in-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and medical terminologies.
• Be responsible for creating employee work schedules, monitoring budgets, maintaining patient records and ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations.
• Be professional and courteous, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Monitor the Dr.’s schedules and ensure patients are called for follow up appointments.
• Inform employees of new policies and other changes.
• Coordinate with Doctors, Nurses and other healthcare professionals to identify their issues and needs.
• Respond to questions from doctors, employees and patients in a timely manner.
• Ensure all departments comply with the current healthcare laws, regulations and the policies of NYCBS.
• Ensure employees are delivering the best care and customer service to all Patients.
• Responsibility to confirm all co-pays are collected from the Patients.

We require:

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hospital or clinical administration position.
• An in-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and medical terminology.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional computer skills, Word/Excel.
• EMR experience required (Onco preferred)

Up to $100,000 per year commensurate with experience and education
