New Pups On The Block Hiring for Dog Walker/Social Media Manager Full Time

We are a small dog walking company based in Charlestown, MA and are looking to grow our team!

We are hiring for a hybrid position which will include 15-25 hours of dog walking Monday-Friday, as well as approximately 5 hours/week of social media management. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a job that is outside of the corporate world, while still maintaining hard skills.

DOG WALKING DETAILS
We are seeking an enthusiastic employee who is interested in learning about dog behavior and body language.

Employees walk up to 4 dogs at once. Candidates with previous dog experience are preferred, however, we do provide a paid training period. Dog sitting opportunities to earn extra income are also available.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT DETAILS
The second component of this position is managing all aspects of our Instagram and Facebook accounts. Candidates MUST have previous professional experience in social media management.

The ideal candidate is punctual, reliable, detail oriented, trustworthy, creative, loves dogs, and has excellent communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Must LOVE dogs!
• Have availability M-F between 10am-4pm
• Reliable transportation to Charlestown (there is NO FREE PARKING)
• 1 year experience in the pet care industry and/or in social media marketing
• Cell phone with camera and data plan
• Able to pass a background check
• Enjoys walking for multiple hours in all types of New England weather!
• Multiple references
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
