NEW Industries Hiring for Quality Engineer CNC Manufacturing at Sturgeon Bay, WI Full Time

We are seeking candidates with deep Quality Engineering experience with CNC machining, fabrication, welding, castings, heat treating, plating and painting.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the voice of the customer for assigned customers as it relates to customer issues and managing the product lifecycle of their parts.
• Apply Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) and be an integral part of a cross-functional team to create part family PFMEAs.
• Lead Control Plan development through capability studies, ongoing SPC requirements and inspection plans.
• Work with our PPAP Administrator to ensure they are complete and correct.
• Lend metrology support to the Quality Assurance Lab and CNC machine operators.
• Review and follow-up on customer non-conformances using a corrective action process and making a risk assessment.
• Work with outside contractors providing plating, paint, heat treating, grinding and castings to resolve quality related issues as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong GD&T experience and knowledge with application o machined and fabricated parts.
• Expert knowledge in metrology and application of gage measuring devices.
• Knowledge of statistical engineering tools for process optimization and problem solving.
• Ability to develop and prepare process documentation, technical s and presentations.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other software.
• B.S. in Engineering or Operations Management or 5 or more years of experience in Quality Engineering.
• CMM programming a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
