New Heights Career Services Hiring for Human Resources Talent Acquisition Advisor Full Time

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Talent Advisor for one of our manufacturing clients in Jackson, Mississippi.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the recruitment and talent acquisition for salaried positions (engineering, technology, and site leadership) process, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary $85k-$95k DOE

Responsibilities for this position will include:

• Partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and develop job descriptions
• Sourcing and recruiting candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, and referrals
• Screening resumes and conducting initial phone screens to determine candidate fit
• Coordinating and scheduling interviews with hiring managers
• Conducting reference and background checks on potential candidates
• Developing and implementing effective talent acquisition strategies
• Providing guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
• Building and maintaining relationships with external recruitment partners and vendors
• Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to talent acquisition
• Other areas include employee relations, training, performance management, ing, analytics and program administration. This position will into the site HR Manager for a non-union plant.

The successful candidate will have:

• At least 3 years of experience in plant HR Talent Acquisition/HR Generalist
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, required
• Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Experience using applicant tracking systems and other HR software
