. Requirements:

As a Finance Specialist Accounts Receivable you will carry out billing, collection, and allocate payments ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts as per SOP. Additionally, this position is responsible to ensure the timely and accurate execution of the day-to-day support requirements of the Shared Services Department. Ultimately, this individual must play an active role in centralizing the AR function within a newly integrated shared services center based in Tampa, FL, and integrating a high volume of acquisitions.

What you will do as a Finance Specialist Accounts Receivable:

• Maintain the billing system ensuring the customer information is correct and up to date.
• Generate invoices/statements timely and accurately.
• Review and understand assigned contracts to enable accurate billing following the terms of the contract.
• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts, including daily outreach to clients who have an outstanding past due to balance.
• Perform account reconciliations, investigate and resolve any inquiries or discrepancies.
• Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with customers, other members of the billing department, and account managers.
• Set a regular cadence of reporting to the direct supervisor.
• Enlist the efforts of account managers and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process and resolve any issues.
• Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Billing Department.

EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounts receivable role required. IT services industry a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, QuickBooks, and/or Connectwise is required.
