We are a growing manufacturing company of chimney venting systems looking for people who share the same passion as us and have fun doing it! NECS is in our 12th year of business, and has recently expanded our facility and locations.

Job Summary:

The Vice President of Finance serves as a member of the NECS Leadership Team and is responsible for the management of the financial and human resource functions of the Corporation. Duties are performed with a great deal of independence under the general direction of the Chief Operating Officer.

Job Responsibilities:

· Contribute to the development and execution of strategic goals of the Corporation.

· Responsible for hiring, development and evaluation of staff in accordance with NECS Core Values.

· Oversee human resources staff with responsibilities including: recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, payroll and employee evaluations.

· Supervise Accounting team with responsibilities including: customer billing, credit application reviews, accounts receivable and accounts payable.

· Develop, implement, and monitor financial internal control policies and procedures.

· Manage and perform monthly and year-end closing processes.

· Lead and manage the annual operating and capital budget process.

· Monitor budget vs. actual variances and develop budget accountability processes.

· Prepare monthly compliance reporting related to debt covenants.

· Create and maintain ad hoc query and financial reporting layouts in ERP system.

· Prepare sales and personal property tax returns.

· Support corporate insurance renewal process and related operational functions.

· Review and evaluate contract proposals.

· Perform cash management functions: cash flow trend monitoring and related projections, manage ACH banking activities, payables management.

· Administer corporate credit cards: add/remove users, establish spend limits, provide training on Credit Card Use policy, monitor available balances and make interim payments, as required.

· Ensure all core finance and human resource processes are documented and followed.

· Responsible for implementing continuous process improvements and efficiencies.

· Supports management decision making with ad hoc reporting.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Work Experience/Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field.

· Minimum of 5 years of related experience.

· Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.

· Experience with Oracle Netsuite a plus.
