Lead Software Engineer – Responsible for the design and implementation of domains’ goals for new and existing features and services. Serve as technical Subject Matter Expert and handle escalations from team members. and provide Level of Efforts. Take part in a collaborative Agile development environment for digital product workstreams and technical domain team. Provide technical expertise necessary to drive the development process for global eCommerce websites; expert-level understanding of overall infrastructure and systems. As key member of the epic refinement sessions, responsible for providing the technical design, documentation, and flows. Lead the team through analysis, design, and software development phases for assigned features and maintenance requests. Ensure high quality and scalable technical solutions are implemented.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field and five years of work experience in the job offered or related field of technical platforms and databases; or in the alternative, a Master’s degree and two years of work experience.

Flexible Work Schedule
For decades we have fostered a unique culture founded on our values with a particular focus on in-person teamwork and collaboration. Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced “Work from Anywhere” (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year. This model will help us enhance our culture while continuing to maintain elements of flexibility.
