A leading Entertainment group is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their TV Productions finance team. This thriving, highly creative, organisation is multi award winning and is well established both in the UK & US.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an outgoing graduate who has some proven work experience but is looking to carve their career in accounting. To work within this thriving and fast paced organisation you will need to be able to think on your feet, be adaptable in your approach and be comfortable and confident at building strong working relationships.
Reporting in the Financial Controller this is a varied role that will see you working with the business & production teams assisting to managing the finances for a number of television productions at any one time.

Responsibilities of the role include:
· Assist with preparation of the balance sheet reconciliations
· Assist with the monthly intercompany reconciliations
· Weekly bank reconciliations and monitor the cash position
· Manage and reconcile the purchase ledger from receipt of invoice through to preparing the payment runs
· Liaise with relevant manager for invoice authorisation and allocate against budget
· Input and reconcile the banking transactions
· Manage and reconcile the expense ledger and company credit cards
· Manage the debtors ledger for the TV division including raising of invoices through to chasing of overdue payments
· Involvement with the management recharge process
· Assist with any ad hoc analysis
· Assist with the resolution of any Accounts Payable, Expenses or Accounts Receivable queries
The ideal candidate will possess:
· Strong academics, ideally educated to degree calibre (Accounting/Finance degree highly beneficial)
· Some previous accounting skills ideally gained within a TV, Media or similar environment
· Self motivated, ‘can-do’ attitude, able to use initiative but also be able to take direction
· Great team player
· Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people of all levels and able to build strong working relationships
· Good Excel skills
· Highly organised, good attention to detail, able to multi-task and deadline orientated

Salary: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
