Neurodiagnostics Medical PC Hiring for Medical Assistant at New York, NY Full Time

• Seeking to hire a Physician Extender who will be responsible for assisting with clinical work and seeing patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, and ability to write consultation notes and complete charts.
• There are 2 positions open for this role currently. Hiring now.

• 16 days of clinic per month; 4 days of work from home.
• Clinical hours are: 9AM – 6PM.
• There are Multiple Clinic Locations. This position requires covering at least 4 of the clinic locations below:

• Seeing consults and follow ups.
• Obtaining and recording patient medical histories, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Coordinating the daily administrative activities, including completing paperwork for patients requested by insurance/their work/etc.
• Finishing all clinical notes with accuracy.
• Helping with patient call backs and developing treatment plans.

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent writing skills
• Must be comfortable with EMR.
• 
  Fluency in English is required.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
• Prior experience with taking a medical history, scribing encounters efficiently, and completing medical documentation/paperwork is preferred.
• Must be legally allowed to work in NYS (e.g. active work visa, or US citizen, etc.)
