Network Specialists of Racine, Inc Hiring for Technical Consultant at Racine, WI Full Time

Accountable for the full scope of a service endeavor – from evaluating businesses technological needs, to implementing and maintaining networks.

The individual will work closely with customers and project managers alike.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Solution Deployment – install, configure and maintain hardware and software.
• Diagnose and repair hardware and software where complications arise.
• Network Operating System Support – diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and maintain Microsoft network operating systems (Server, Professional and Home).
• Documentation – create and update technical documentation and statements of work.
• Research and Discovery – survey and collect data used in the assessment of proposed solution and design. Execute on tasks ambiguous in nature
• Proactively update project and/or task progress using project management software tools.

Knowledge and Skill:

• Proficient with various Microsoft platforms.
• Proficient in full scope of networking concepts.
• Ability to program and administer Firewalls (Fortinet and Sophos a bonus).
• Excellent communication, training and knowledge transfer skills.
• Professional posture in time sensitive and business critical situations.

Work experience requirements:

• 2 years of consultant experience in the IT field.
• Varied hands-on experience implementing solutions in multiple, dissimilar environments. Education & Certification Requirements:
