Location: This role is based at Quadrant:MK. For roles based in the Quadrant:MK, you must live within 90 minutes.

Human Resources (HR) provides support on all people-related issues for Network Rail. Brief Description

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who will be able to manage all data, analysis and reporting within the Reward & Benefits team to support decision making on wide range of HR projects and initiatives related to pay, performance related pay and benefits. You will be leading on the planning and delivery of high quality, accurate and timely analytical reporting and analysis to the HR community, and wider business as well as supporting the HR community in providing advice and guidance on reward and benefits related topics.

About the role (External)

What does the average day look like?

In this role you will be providing quantitative and qualitative analysis to support reward activities around pay award, performance related pay, employee remuneration and benchmarking to resolve local or national issues, adding value and provide insights where appropriate, this involves using your existing knowledge of analytics systems to develop and maintain bespoke dashboards and tools to improve the team’s analytical capabilities for faster and more accurate reporting as well as working with key stakeholders to obtain accurate reward related data.

You will be the team’s data protection lead, promoting best practice to be compliant with Data Protection Act and General Data Protection Regulation.

In addition to the above, you’ll be managing reward related projects on behalf of the specialists, using expert reward knowledge to input into the recommendations to the business alongside developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

What essential skills and experiences are required?

• Degree or equivalent qualification in relevant subject, such as mathematics or statistics, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience of analysing large datasets and using complex analytical frameworks to support decision making with proven ability to innovate and create solutions to complex modelling issues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate and influence effectively with all levels of an organisation.
• Project management experience, delivering small to medium sized projects.
• Experience of delegating specific tasks and supervising others in the completion of these tasks.
• Excellent presentation skills adjusting presentation style to differing audiences.

We would also like, but not essential.

• Experience with working with employee data and in a HR/Payroll environment or Reward & Benefits team.
• Experience of managing and developing people
