Regional HR Business Partner – Retail & Customer Relations Centre (CRC)
Location: York – hybrid working with travel required to cover North UK
Salary £31,000 – £40,000 depending on experience + potential 8% performance-related bonus + other fantastic benefits

Position Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to join our People team as a Regional Retail HR Business Partner. This is an exciting role, joining a team of HR Business partners working closely with our Customer Relations Centre (call centre team) in York and Boutiques (stores) across the North of England. In this role you will work closely with our retail management teams providing best in class HR support, guidance and governance.

A day in the life of a Regional HR Business Partner…
This is an exciting role, offering a real opportunity to work with managers at all levels as an instrumental regional Business Partner from day one, giving HR support and coaching to provide best in class service and site direction. This role provides real flexibility in the nature of the retail related role and gives the autonomy to get to the heart of people issues, working to develop fit for purpose solutions with a continuous improvement mentality.
You will be responsible for:
Partnering with our CRC Leadership Team and Regional Boutique Managers from day one, as well building strong connections with our retail management team across the North.
Supporting the timely execution of the People strategy for the CRC, as well as across the Boutiques (stores) in your region;
Building excellent relationships with people across our network, whilst providing coaching in order to empower managers to provide a high level of service;
Be a key point of contact for any employee relations issues that arise supporting the site to ensure the appropriate resolution it achieved in a timely manner.
Developing line managers and individuals to understand our performance and development activities; ensuring our core processes are understood, embedded and delivered;
Develop capability across your region, ensuring that there is a core understanding of our HR model;
Work as part of a cross-functional team to develop our HR practices and processes.
We operate with a centralised employee services team and centre of excellence so liaising with central HR employees will also be a key part of your role. There’s no getting away from the fact that this is a demanding and challenging role, but if you’re looking for somewhere where you can contribute to tangible, sustainable results, then this could be the team for you.
What will make you successful
Your career so far will demonstrate a track record in operational HR, with a demonstrable ability to work as a true business partner. What is important, is your ability to deliver tangible outcomes that make a real difference for our Nespresso network. It would also be beneficial to have:
Experience and/or a background of an operational retail or call centre environment;
Experience in a large scale business environment, having the ability to translate wider HR strategy and policies by bringing them to life for your area;
Previous experience in a HR role with a proven track of delivering outcomes that make a difference to the business or having a HR-related qualification;
Experience of working to deadlines that include contributions from multiple stakeholders within a project;
Having an excellent eye for detail and understand how your decisions impact the wider business.
Most importantly, you will know the importance of being able to flex your style when prioritising work in an environment that is often ambiguous and pressured.
