Fantastic opportunity for a Production Manager to join our Wahgunyah Factory, the home of Uncle Toby’s Snacks and Cereals.

Production Manager will ensure production plan is full achieved on time and in compliance with legal requirements meeting safety, quality, hygiene, cost and environment need. Drive continuous improvement through TPM. Empower people to motivate and develop their capability. Align and involved all the relevant functions.

ing to the Factory Manager, key responsibilities of the role include, but not limited to:

• Ensure high performing operations through goal alignment across all production areas.
• Ensure that finished products are consistently manufactured meeting prescribed standards, on time and meeting consumer expectations, and productivity measures.
• Implement and sustain Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) in the plant through effective Operational Reviews to achieve Zero waste and to identify improvement areas.
• Motivate and coach the resources to achieve objectives in accordance with goal alignment practices.
• Effectively manage the Operational Review DOR, ensure exchange of information for alignment with the short-, medium- and long-term objectives.
• Motivate, guide, support and coach the resources to achieve objectives and to act in accordance with NCE guidelines.
• Maintain and improve a safe working environment complying with the local laws, striving for Zero accidents through continuous coaching on safety behaviours.
• Execute people development through competency building programs to achieve flexibility of workforce and to develop succession plan.
• Collaborate with all functions in the factory to achieve factory objectives.
• Ensure ongoing smooth operation of factory through employee and industrial relations.
• Ensure the timely launch of new products to the Market as per agreement with the business unit.

What Will Make You Successful

• Joining a collaborative team of specialists, you will be a strong leader with a drive to deliver quality outcomes with efficiency and with a passion for continuous process improvement.
• 5+ years previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role, ideally, within a FMCG production environment.
• Possess knowledge in food manufacturing or degree/Diploma in Food sciences or engineering.
• Experience in change management and exposure to continuous improvement techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train and develop a group of people.
• It is essential that you have excellent people management skills, with a continuous improvement mind-set and demonstrable experience in leading and engaging a team to motivate and enhance performance.
• You will demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, problem solving, analysis, decision-making abilities.
