Business Unit: Nestlé – Cereal Partners
Location: Welwyn Garden City (Hybrid working 2-3 days in office)
Open to part time or full time (4 or 5 days per week)
Salary up to £42,000 plus potential bonus + fantastic benefits inc pension/ 25 days holiday + additional 12 days flex days, flexible working.
Position Summary
We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our small but friendly Cereal Partners HR team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for you to provide an effective business partnering service that ensures our people priorities contribute to the success and growth of our business. In this role you’ll take the lead on our D&I agenda acting as the D&I and Wellbeing Champion.
A day in the life of a HRBP…
This role offers a real opportunity to work with managers as their business partner from day one providing HR support and coaching to provide best in class service. This is a hands-on HR position in which you’ll have the flexibility and autonomy to get to the heart of people issues, working to develop fit for purpose solutions with a continuous improvement mentality.
You’ll also be responsible for:
Providing Generic HR support and coaching to the corporate functions within Cereal Partners
Compliance with UK Legislation and CPUK’s policies and procedures
Building excellent relationships with all employees
Running the talent process and succession planning
Working closely with the functional heads and their managers to ensure alignment
Acting as the D&I Champion, you will push the D&I agenda
Support the Graduate / Apprentice cohorts
We operate with a centralised employee services team and centre of excellence so liaising with central HR employees will also be a key part of your role. There’s no getting away from the fact that this is a demanding and challenging role, looking but if you’re looking for somewhere where you can contribute to tangible, sustainable results, then this could be the place for you.
What will make you successful
Your career so far will demonstrate a track record in operational HR, with a demonstrable ability to work as a true business partner. You’ll need to be able to build on your experience in a large-scale business environment, and you’ll be accustomed to translating a wider market HR strategy and policies. Ideally, you’ll have a commercial HR background, but as a minimum you’ll need to have a proven track record of working within a HR role delivering tangible outcomes that make a real difference to the business.
