POSITION SUMMARY

An opportunity currently exists for a Customer Claims Executive to join our Sales Finance Team based at Rhodes. This is a 12 month contract role with a strong possibility of converting to permanent.

In this role, you will be managing Trade Claims and Deductions; setting up Long Term Trade Activities; reviewing accuracy of Trade Accruals; and providing commentary on movements of Trade Spends.

A DAY IN THE LIFE…

• Timely processing of all Trade Claims and Deductions
• Timely and accurate set-up of Long Term Trade Activities
• Accuracy of Trade Activities in Trade Systems and Trade Accruals
• Resolution of disputed Trade Claims, through follow up and reporting and provision of details to the Sales Team.
• Compilation of Trade Spends forecast with clear commentary of Trade Spends movements versus Target.
• Claim validation using information generated from various tools (Eg: Nielsen scan data)

ARE YOU A FIT?

• Joining a collaborative team, you will be self-motivated, proactive and have a proven capacity to work effectively within a team environment.
• You are well organised, adaptable and have strong attention to detail. You possess initiative and good problem solving capabilities as well as good interpersonal and communication skills.
• You will ideally be degree qualified in finance/accounting and have at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role. Have proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good understanding of basic accounting principles. Prior experience with any ERP system is advantageous.
