Job Overview:

In this role, you will lead and collaborate with business partners regarding all aspects of HR, including policy interpretation, employee relations and HR programs, performance management and more. You will also be responsible for assisting in driving effective organizational change management strategies, employee engagement programs and leadership development initiatives to foster a dynamic, diverse culture

Responsibilities:

Execute HR Strategy (30%):

• Participating in various projects and project delivery, such as annual merit processes and quarterly HR data ing and analysis.
• Communicating with employees on policies and procedures while providing counsel to associates to maintain a productive and positive work environment, serving as liaison between associates and management.
• Assist the HR Manager with Workers Compensation management and return to work program.
• Other duties assigned by Human Resource Manager

Recruitment (20%):

• Partnering in recruitment and new hire processes including coordinating position openings, developing job descriptions, diversity recruitment strategies, interviewing candidates, reviewing job offers, new hire orientation and acting as liaison with the hiring manager and the Talent Management teams

Employee/Labor Relations & Compliance (40%):

• Communicating with employees on policies and procedures while providing counsel to associates to maintain a productive and positive work environment, serving as liaison between associates and management. Manage all employee investigations when required.
• Developing strong collaborative relationships with all members of the HR department and related teams, such as HR Business Partners, HR Operations, and other key contacts.
• Fostering an environment of open communication and honest feedback through employee feedback discussions.
• Observing all EEO compliance and Affirmative Action programs, including drafting annual AAP, managing annual employee compliance trainings, and reviewing all hiring, transfer, and promotion practices.
• Maintaining compliance with all laws and regulations pertaining to HR matters, including providing direction in audits conducted by government agencies (i.e., OFCCP) as needed.

Performance & Talent Management (10%)

• Assisting leaders and managers with performance management issues, retention strategies and employee performance development.
• Ensure all employees are trained to use tools and resources for effective performance and development evaluations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business, or Organizational Management related field preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a professional level Human Resources role
• Knowledge of state and federal employment law, including HR technical knowledge of EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, unemployment, and worker’s compensation, investigation processes, compensation practices, benefit programs, and recruitment processes.

Critical Experience:

• Employee management/relations/communications experience, dealing with difficult employee issues while ensuring that company policies are followed fairly
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access) and an HRIS system (such as PeopleSoft or SAP)
• Experience communicating or presenting information to a wide range of employees
