ing directly to Snr. Business Manager – Vet, Professional & Pet Specialty, you will be responsible for delivering Purina financial objectives within the Pet Specialty team for our major retail customers through execution of Purina’s business plan. You will also be responsible for management of trade spend & Nestle Purina’s operational plan to deliver sustainable profitable growth.

Position Summary

• In line with the Customer Business Manager and Account Managers, continually review the total Pet Specialty major retailer promotional plan to ensure the promotional program is effective & delivers financial targets to both NPPA and major Pet Specialty customers
• Monthly management of total trade spend to ensure trade spend is maximised to achieve the sales plan
• Support the management of the total execution of the NPP promotional strategy through internal tracker management and raising of accruals
• Regularly on the sales and trade spend status of Pet Specialty customers to ensure business objectives are on track
• To co-ordinate insights from learnings from key promotional activity (both NPP and competitors) to support of effective decision-making within both the Pet Specialty Team and the Category Management Teams.
• Manage the collaboration negotiation with both internal & external stakeholders.
• Work with account co-ordinator to manage all communication to NPP Operations / field team

• You will be a natural collaborator with a strong proactive mind-set and be able to influence those around you to drive your account growth.
• You will possess excellent presentation and strong communication skills to be able to articulate a clear vision effectively in partnership with your key account/s to achieve mutually beneficial commercial outcomes.
• Your commercial approach and digital savviness will set you apart as will your conviction and resilience to work within a fast-paced agile environment.
