Nesco Resource, LLC Hiring for IT Support Specialist at Taunton, MA Full Time

Primary mission is to support the Information Technology software and hardware functions. This position will be the subject matter expert for all hardware, including computers, phones, printers, and fax machines. The Operations Support Specialist will act as a liaison between the IT Helpdesk and employees in the onboarding process, including computer and network setup, software and program installation, etc. This role will apply technical expertise to the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of IT systems.

Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners

Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary

Set up equipment for employees which may include proper installation of cables, operating systems, and appropriate software

Participate in the monitoring and maintenance of IT

Write or revise user training manuals, procedures, or SOP’s

Work with software and hardware vendors to request service regarding defective products.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education Education Level Education Details Required/Preferred AS in Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field preferred

Work Experience Experience Experience Details Required/Preferred
2-5 years of experience IT, Computer Science, or related field
.Excel and Access programming
Ability to develop programs using macros
Demonstrated experience and strong proficiency supporting Microsoft technologies.
Desired individual will be an analytical problem solver, have a positive attitude, be enthusiastic, highly intelligent, detail oriented, strong written and verbal communication skills, team player, and self-starter.
Strong aptitude for learning and diagnosing software and hardware problems.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a team and independently. Must have an aptitude for logical analysis and problem solving.
Must understand Windows desktop and server networking environments
