In this “boots on the ground” TA Manager role, you will start off as the sole person in TA so you will enjoy a very visible, highly autonomous, hands-on recruiting position where you will “make it your own”! The right fit for this role will have strong TA, recruiting experience and enjoy day-to-day, roll up your sleeves recruitment, but also experience or ability to work in a leadership position and build out this newly created TA group.

To start, you will to the Long Island office 5 days per week. There is the possibility of eventually going to a hybrid work schedule, but this must be full-time onsite to start.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to establish a continual pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Develop effective relationships within the organization’s management team to understand departmental talent needs on an immediate and longer-term basis.
• Foster and maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity, and inclusion to strengthen the company’s competitive advantage.
• Create a comprehensive college recruitment strategy to attract qualified, diverse candidates by identifying, developing, and leveraging key campus relationships and resources.
• Attend job fairs at colleges and universities, including HBCUs.
• Oversee the company’s employment branding strategies.
• Establish the company’s recruitment initiatives on social media with a presence on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Manage an online marketing program to promote job openings and career opportunities at the company.
• Ability to engage confidently with the executive management team to help develop total talent management strategies.
• Research comparable companies across all industries to explore, present and develop new employee related programs to foster our recruitment, retention, and diversity initiatives.
• Foster and maintain a dynamic and inspiring work culture.
• Play a key role in succession planning and leadership development.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• At least five to eight years of Talent Management experience.
• Expert-level experience working with iCIMS or a similar applicant tracking system, as well as AI and social distribution features.
• Expert-level experience in LinkedIn Recruiter
• Experienced in all areas of sourcing, including internet, social media, networking, employee referrals, job postings, open houses, job fairs (on-site and / or virtual), and establishing strong relationships with key colleges and universities.
• Thorough understanding of modern recruitment methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and related employment laws and regulations
• Ability to design and manage a full-cycle recruitment and retention program.
• Excellent interpersonal, counseling, and presentation skills
• Resourceful and able to assist in other areas of HR.
• Demonstrated ability to personally execute strategies and related goals
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to design and maintain work-related metrics.
