The Talent Acquisition Specialist will increase the organisational effectiveness of NEP by managing the talent acquisition process for the departments or geographies. This role will partner with hiring managers and the Human Resource team to identify opportunities to build diverse applicant pools, proactively source candidates, establish trust and partnerships with the managers, identify ideal candidates through effective interviewing and testing, effectively administer the interviewing/selection process, and ensure a positive candidate experience.

This position is based in Sydney, NSW

• Develop and execute effective recruitment process, plans and strategies to ensure hiring goals are met with the best possible talent
• Developing innovative and impactful social media and talent attraction campaigns.
• Contributing to the continuous review, improvement and implementation of talent acquisition procedures and processes
• Managing and enhancing candidate experience through the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from job description review, advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, onboarding, regular check in right through to probation end.
• Work with the business to help drive engagement and retention.
• Proactively develop networks/ partnerships with schools and tertiaries to arrange events to attract early talent.
• Assist the HR Manager with other ad-hoc duties

What You Will Need

• Minimum 5 years of talent acquisition or human resources experience, preferably in the broadcasting or technology industries
• Strong knowledge of all laws/regulations governing hiring in Australia
• Demonstrated knowledge of social network recruiting and various other techniques
• Experience building candidate pipelines and applicant pools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
• A self-motivated mindset with the ability to prioritise and manage time and work efficiently
