We’re looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to head the fulfillment of several client projects. The successful candidate will have expertise in multiple programming languages and be able to work independently. The successful candidate will also have a diverse portfolio of experience and a portfolio of work that is available for review. Our Full Stack Developer should be an excellent leader and role model who communicates effectively and demonstrates a strong commitment to teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Create database applications that are joined to a user interface (website, mobile app, etc.).
• Work with a team.

• Build and maintain database applications.

About The Role

As Lead Full-stack Engineer you will be central to the success of the agency, helping to plan & lead the delivery of highly complex technical solutions whilst also being hands on. Leading by example, you will provide support, leadership, and oversight to multiple project teams whilst ensuring that they are delivered on-time and to the highest standards. You are a collaborative and proactive team player, a confident communicator that is equally comfortable in front of our clients and our internal colleagues. We are looking for a candidate that demonstrates passion for technology, innovation, and ever evolving software design and development principles.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of a wide range of technical platforms, products, and services, utilising modern best practice development processes and approaches
• Work with the Managing Director to support with oversight, career management, and training of technical team members across multiple disciplines and geographic locations
• You will remain a hands-on developer to help shape, troubleshoot, and deliver our solutions
• Working closely with Technical Leads, Project Management, UX, and Design to accurately plan and estimate technical programmes of work
• Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations to all levels of a client’s organisation in addition to creating regular project documentation
• Identify and execute improvements related to technical applications, systems and client implementations.
• Working with the Managing Director on hiring and interviewing for new freelance and permanent team members
• Working with other (non-technical) disciplines to ensure they understand the implications of effort, complexity, reliability, maintainability, and scalability of any designed solutions
• Champion, oversee, and enforce quality assurance within the department and agency
• Represent company’s software development expertise in winning of new business along with sales teams.
• Working closely with the Managing Director to ensure we are innovative and forward-thinking, striving to continuously improve our ways of working to become more efficient and effective.
• Identify priorities and communicate technology impacts throughout decision making process.
• Analyse various technical solutions and recommend based on technical and financial merits.
• Foster a culture of continuous development and organise training for the Technology team by coordinating internal and external learning opportunities, i.e., lunch and learn, external speakers, team building exercises.
• Run code reviews, monitor test reports, and ensure all code is of the highest quality and is in alignment with company best practices.

Job Type: Temporary contract

Salary: £50,512.00-£55,266.00 per year
