Nelson Connects is seeking candidates for Engineering Technician opportunity in Boulder, CO. In this role you will assemble and test engineering prototype instruments alongside a diverse R&D team, perform testing and analysis of components and systems to validate research and correlate mechanical models.

There will also be the opportunity to perform root-cause investigations.

• Mechanically assemble electro-mechanical fluidic instruments from sub assembly through complete instrument
• Generate and release engineering documentation (initial assembly procedures, installation instructions, test s, etc.

to support the development and manufacture of world class life science instruments.

• Procure, track, stock, and kit instrument components.
• Set up and maintain assembly stations, tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and test fixtures.

Qualifications : u00A0

u00A0

• Associate degree Mechanical Engineering Technology or higher; or working towards engineering degree. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of and application of principles and theories of engineering.
• General understanding of instrument assembly.
• Strong communication, technical, and computer skills.
• CAD experience, u00A0 SolidWorks experience is a plus.
• Problem solving, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Ability to assemble and disassemble instruments.
