NOW HIRING A N OFFICE ASSISTANT :

The Office Assistant will proficiently handle a spectrum of general office tasks and administrative responsibilities for the organization and executive leadership.

This includes overseeing and maintaining vendor relationships, delivering exceptional customer service, and undertaking miscellaneous tasks on behalf of the Owner.

The position will support the marketing and sales department with various projects as needed. The Office Assistant will ensure that Nell Hill’s mission and values are being fully executed and support the overall customer and vendor experience.

What will I do?

• Support the overall customer and vendor experience, ensuring a personal touch is consistently demonstrated to build strong business relationships.
• Place orders with various vendors as needed (candles, bath / body, general stock reorders).
• Communicate with vendors via phone and email.
• Deliver outstanding customer service daily.
• Assist in addressing customer services issues as they arise.
• Generate and produce essential company s.
• Execute and dispatch s to both management and accounting as required.
• Refresh files with the most recent ed data.
• Perform various office / store support functions as needed.
• Perform and monitor administrative functions.
• Answer and direct phone calls to the correct team member.
• Greet clients and make them feel comfortable, both in person and over the phone.
• Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms.
• Assist in creating and maintaining marketing strategies for the organization.
• Initiate outreach projects and drive lead generation efforts.
• Perform follow up assistance.
• Assist sales and marketing on projects as needed.
• Oversee and help coordinate special projects as needed.
• Coordinate product and logistics for special on-site and off-site events.
• Communicate with relevant internal and external parties for on-site and off-site events.
• Execute various tasks assigned by the Owner.

Position requirements :

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required.
• An associate degree in business or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in an administrative / office management role is preferred.
