Neilson Financial Services Hiring for Senior Software Engineer at Engineer, BC Full Time

The Senior Software Engineer will join a team of engineers maintaining, upgrading, and supporting an internal CRM platform responsible for managing existing insurance policies including payments, documentation, and endorsements. Working on this solution will provide sufficient domain and technical knowledge to join the wider engineering team building out the new IT landscape of technical services.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Work as part of a flexible, committed, and active software delivery team to produce high quality solutions with a focus on supporting an international Financial Services business.

Work with the Solution Architect and other IT teams to ensure that the solutions meet the business requirements.

Skills & Knowledge:
Around 4 years of hands-on software development experience

Experience developing APIs, services, and applications

Experience programming in C# and .NET Core

Hands-on experience programming and using modern CI/CD pipeline, Azure DevOps preferred

Experience in programming with SQL databases

Experience building web-based systems including HTML, Javascript and CSS

Experience with GIT would be advantageous
