Please note that the location listed above is for one of the sites at which we have current openings. Our child development staff work from 6 different locations where we operate programs and classrooms. These sites are located in South, Central and West Seattle as well as in Burien.
Classroom Aide
Scope
Child Development Department staff support the Neighborhood House mission framework and Strategic Plan by contributing to the school readiness of low-income children and supporting their parents, care givers and community. The Classroom Aide is a hands-on learning position designed to gain knowledge and build skills over up to a 1 year period, while completing a Child Development Associate’s credential (CDA) to become an Assistant Teacher I. The position provides classroom support with the goal of providing the highest quality early childhood education services with the overall goal of building a child’s social competency.
