Nealy Pierce has been retained by Salem Health to assist in the recruitment of an Educator for the Surgical Services service line. This position will work collaboratively with the entire Surgical Services leadership team and report to the Director of Education and Kaizen.

Surgical Services Educator Responsibilities:

• Create and promote an environment that affords quality patient care and service excellence by demonstrating evidence-based and competent practice by the clinical staff.
• Facilitation of the educational process through assessment, development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of competency assessment and continuing education.
• Provide staff development expertise as an educator, consultant, facilitator, change agent, and leader.
• Support leadership team for the department’s Kaizen/Lean initiatives

Manager of Credentialing and Privileging Requirements:

• Masters degree in Nursing required (MSN in Education preferred)
• Three (3) years experience in Surgical Services
• Previous teaching or education experience, preferably in Surgical Services
• Instructional Design and E-learning experience preferred
