A bit about the opportunity, our team and you…
We are excited to be looking for an Independent End Point Assessor (IEPA) – Education to join our* End-Point Assessment Team.*

We are looking for someone who can cover the following standards:

• Early Year Educator
• Early Years Practitioner
• Teaching Assistant
• Assessor Coach
• Learner Mentor
• Learning Skill Teacher

You be joining a highly motivated dedicated team of End Point Assessors based across standards and the UK.

As our IEPA you will deliver EPA in line with the standard, conduct retakes, utilise a digital first approach, providing all parties with the most efficient method of delivery and provide detailed feedback to the apprentice on each EPA. You will utilise NCFE Apprenticeship Services EPA platform to record EPAs and interact with apprentices. As part of continuous improvement, you will attend standardisation events to ensure quality, compliance and consistency across the standard being assessed. Using excellent communication skills you will communicate with apprentices, ITP and employers on EPA and grading, collaborate with the NCFE Apprenticeship Services EPA Quality Assurance team.

The End-Point Assessment (EPA) team is responsible for developing and delivering EPA of the apprenticeship standards in line with the assessment plans written by the Trailblazer groups. The team is a fully functional business unit overseen by the Head of Apprenticeship Services.

The team is responsible for the end-to-end process of accepting a learner through gateway, taking the relevant assessments for their apprenticeship, grading their assessment(s) and ultimately certification. This activity is supported by a suite of rigorous business rules, assessor allocations, External Quality Assurance (EQA) requirements, IT systems, partnership arrangements and staff management, designed to drive consistency and excellence.
