Position Responsibilities:
1. Consults with organization’s Department Managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).
2. Post open positions on search sites, screen resumes and applicants, administer testing, work with the management team and manage the selection process to fill open positions.
3. Consults data and records to identify and select potential candidates for vacant positions from a diverse pool of candidates.
4. Checks candidates’ references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds.
5. Counsels candidates on the interview and hiring process.
6. Set up interviews for candidates.
7. Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities.
8. Follows up with hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful.
9. Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
10. Plan and conduct new employee orientations.
11. Provide new employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, and employee benefits.
12. Onboard new hires.
13. Run s as needed.
14. Assist the Human Resources Department by being a back up to other HR related tasks.
15. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2. 2-3 years of strong interviewing and selection experience to ensure the right fit candidates are recruited.
3. Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
4. Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality while working with highly sensitive and confidential information.
5. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects under pressure while maintaining workload and producing the highest level of quality.
6. Excellent judgment and discretion.
7. Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all Human Resources functions.
8. Ability to work with all levels of management and staff with a very high degree of professionalism.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews.
10. Excellent interpersonal skills.
11. Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
12. Must be a creative thinker and excellent team player.
13. Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.
Education:
1. College Degree preferred.
Work Location: Mainly Remote, may need to go into office Quarterly.
