About the Role:

Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Bank reconciliation
• Managing deposits and booking fees
• Debtor and creditor subsidiary reconciliation
• Overseeing accounts payable and receivable functions
• Intercompany loans

Tax Compliance – Assist with

• Manage, prepare of GST, FBT compliance requirements.
• Assist and liaise with external accountants in the preparation of year end accounts.
• Payroll Tax Year End Reconciliation.
• Process Financial Year End Adjusting Journals.
• Month End Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Close Off

Management Reporting – Assist with

• Booking and sales budgeting, forecast and reporting required by senior executives
• COGS and SG&A expense analysis as required by Financial Controller
• Sales performance management reporting as required by Financial Controller
• Assist Financial Controller in preparing the management pack to present to the board of directors
• Financial and management report analysis as required by the financial controller

Skills and attributes:

• Minimum of 2+ years of work experience in Accounting – Optional
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, confident to take on a supervisory role
• Process and deadline driven mindset with a keen eye for detail
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other financial software and tools for reporting and analysis purposes
• Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
