Role: Junior SQL Developer

Location: Work from home (*would ideally suit someone based in London and/surrounding home counties)

We have continued to do well through the recent difficult period and are looking for a SQL Developer to join the team. The Junior SQL Developer will report into the Technical Lead and will be responsible in the main for daily optimisation, modifications, internal support, administration of the customer’s databases.

The Junior SQL Developer will also provide internal support and services to other teams within Nautilus. The Junior SQL developer must be a self-starter and able to manage their time appropriately based on priorities.

Key responsibilities will include:

• SQL Development in accordance with deliverables and requirements.
• SQL enhancements in line with the roadmap.
• Administration of the product deployments.
• Maintaining our customers’ deployed products through required support and maintenance
• Implementation of the product at customer sites.
• Feeding any enhancements and changes due to customer customization back to the product manager and technical lead.
• Business Analysis of new requirements as well as impact analyses of changes requested by clients.
• Providing internal Business Intelligence & Data Analytics services.

Required skills:

• Experience: 1 – 3 years ideally within the healthcare IT/NHS sector although other sectors will be considered should the individual show the right attitude and aptitude.
• Essential Skills: MS SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, junior DBA (MS SQL Server), MS Office *
• Desired Skills: SSRS, MySQL / Mongo / Postgres, NHS (Data Dictionary / Reporting), VBA, MS Excel programming
