Join us at NatWest as an Auditor and Surveyor, Invoice Finance in Working Capital Sales

• In this key role, you’ll conduct audits and prospect surveys, both remotely and onsite at client premises, ensuring completion to a high standard within the required timescales
• Working in partnership with invoice finance relationship teams, you’ll make sure that risk management is robust and growth is sustainable

• This role will require regular travelling to client sites across the northwest, Cumbria and northwest Wales

What you’ll do

You’ll be reviewing client data and information to assess their suitability for the provision or continuation of facilities. You’ll work closely with client relations and business development colleagues in order to meet customer needs and expectations. In addition, when you compose your closing reports, they will be clear and identify risks along with strategies to mitigate them.

You’ll also be:

• Challenging current practices in order to improve the quality and efficiency of what we do
• Managing your own diary to ensure that audits and surveys are prioritised and completed in a timely manner
• Working remotely but engaging regularly with your team sharing best practices and lessons learned

The skills you’ll need

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have accounting or bookkeeping knowledge, along with an understanding of financial software. You’ll also have knowledge of the invoice finance industry, including knowledge of the legalities of invoice discounting agreements.

We’ll also want to see:

• The ability to review and understand statistical and financial data
• Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
